Jennifer Colten’s work focuses on transitional landscapes and the histories of cultural and geographic space. Her photographic practice includes exploration of sites at the edges of the urban environment where resilience and ecological transformation are present. Central concerns consider complex and intertwined issues of the social, cultural and environmental implications of land use.
